Proprietary trader for Tier One investment banks 20 years, left to form my own fund and while waiting for set up finalisation heard about the wikifolio concept and decided to see what I can do. No arrogance but I am pretty good. Relative value is the practice of being long a favoured asset whilst equally short a disfavoured asset. This results in insulation from the wider market direction. This is known as a hedge and underpins the original vision of the hedge fund.
